What was your first role within the property industry and what roles have you had since?

• My first role was as a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. I then went on to become a Sustainable Design Consultant and, most recently, a Sustainability Manager at Lendlease.

What is the biggest issue facing the property industry in NSW currently?

• Solving the housing affordability issue.

If you weren’t working in property, where could you see yourself working? 

• In the transportation sector, perhaps aviation or shipping.

What are the committee’s priorities for the next 12 months?

• Identifying barriers to sustainable growth in NSW and working with a variety of stakeholders to find solutions. 
• Providing insights into what climate change might mean for the commercial property sector in NSW
• Promoting enhanced urban resilience through events
• Advocating for favourable government policy and regulation

What do you think are the characteristics of a great committee member?

• Engaged, committed and present.

Using only one word, how would you describe the Property Council of Australia?

• Advocate

What does “success” mean to you in terms of your work as a Committee member?

• Effecting positive change as a result of the Committee’s efforts
