Charter Hall’s big plans for Raine Square

Charter Hall has big plans that will reposition Raine Square into a new $700million mixed use precinct.

The proposed redevelopment will complement the existing Bankwest Place by delivering an enhanced retail and entertainment offering.

Charter Hall’s Head of Office Development, Andrew Borger, said: “We are very excited to have submitted the DA and we are looking forward to working collaboratively with the City of Perth and our major stakeholders to transform Raine Square into a significant Perth CBD landmark.”

“Our vision is to make Raine Square the ‘IT’ place in Perth by revitalising the retail and entertainment offering to appeal to global brands and high quality restaurant, café and tavern operators, a new multi-screen cinema complex and the construction of a new tower that will attract a hotel operator.

“We are capitalising on the proximity and accessibility to the major rail and bus station networks, Yagan Square, Perth City Link and Perth Arena to make Raine Square Perth’s most vibrant and enjoyable mixed use precinct,” Mr Borger added.

Subject to planning approvals construction is expected to commence in early 2017.
