Changes to CBD buses start 4 October 2015

Timetables and trip planning are now available for the redesigned CBD bus network that will begin operating on Sunday 4 October 2015 ahead of major light rail construction that will start later in the month.

From 4 October 2015, buses will no longer operate along George Street and will operate predominantly along new priority routes on Elizabeth Street, Castlereagh Street, Park Street, Druitt Street, Clarence Street and York Street.

Nearly all CBD bus routes will be impacted. There will be new cross-city routes connecting destinations on opposite sides of the city as well as services expanded to Walsh Bay and Barangaroo. 

From 14 September 2015 staff in highly visible pink shirts will be around the CBD to provide help and information about the bus changes.
