CBD Re-activation

The Property Council welcomed the Queensland Government’s announcement to ease restrictions further from 4pm on Friday 27 August, as Queensland entered Stage 3 of the Unite and Recover Roadmap for Easing Restrictions.

The eased restrictions have not only helped bring back workplace foot traffic into the CBD but have also helped CBD retailers go back to the post-COVID new-normal work levels.

The Property Council, together with its members, has been working towards developing further CBD re-activation initiatives and will be continuing this important advocacy work to ensure that our CBD retailers not only survive the lead up to the Olympics but thrive.
