Capisce QS – New kids on the block

Capisce Qs was our escape plan.  Escape from an industry that is being bought and sold to the highest corporate bidder without pause to consider what is being lost in the transaction.  People, experience, skills and personality!  

This is why Capisce Qs is working hard to recover the forgotten mantle of working with local people on local projects and making sure it is an enjoyable and successful experience.  The team at Capisce Qs have known each other for over 10 years working together on a wide range of South Australian projects from desalination plants to hospitals, power stations to schools, mines to prisons, highways to hotels. Experiences gained from these projects have been invaluable and are the foundation of our Professional knowledge, yet they were all delivered in a corporate environment which choked our opportunity to innovate.  Our plan is to be different.  To engage with our clients on a face to face level, deliver on promises made, remain truly professional in everything we do all while enjoying the industry we belong to. This idealism comes with a wealth of experience and it has a new name – Capisce.

Capisce Qs is our new start up.  100% owned and operated by South Australians.  Commencing with a team of 5 staff in April this year covering expertise across building, civils, utilities, and resources we have grown to 9 Professional staff operating across 12 industry sectors with over 20 return clients all within 5 months.  We believe this exciting start reflects a true team of Professionals passionate about what we do.

Capisce Qs is fundamentally a Quantity Surveying service provider that tackles a range of needed skills within our industry.  These skills may not be typical to the Asia-Pacific market but are common place to the European Quantity Surveying market.  Unlike the perception of many Australian industry players we don’t just count bricks!  Think money, cost, risk and the unknown quantum that these fundamental contributors bring to every project.  These are the elements we control for our clients.
