Call for Public Private Partnership to deliver new schoolsThe Victorian Government is calling for expressions of interest to develop 13 new schools under a $223 million infrastructure project announced on 15 October.The package to deliver the schools in metropolitan and regional growth areas will operate under the Public Private Partnership model. The successful consortium will finance, design, build and also maintain the new schools for 25 years. Expressions of interest are due by 13 November and tender documents will be released to the shortlisted applicants early next year. The schools will be built in two tranches, with the first group of schools to open before the 2017 school year and the second to open in 2018.More information can be found on the Victorian Government Tenders website.
