Building Upgrade Finance Central Facilitator role

The applications for the role of a Building Upgrade Finance Central Facilitator are now open.

The Central Facilitator will offer services to assist the local government, finance and property sectors with the use of the mechanism.

This role will be tasked to drive the delivery and facilitate the uptake of Building Upgrade Agreements (BUAs) across South Australia, and will do this by:

  • Targeting and engaging property owners, financiers, local government, service providers and other relevant stakeholders within South Australia to maximise the origination and uptake of BUAs through the BUF mechanism.
  • Providing information and subject matter advice to educate and build internal Local Government capacity across South Australia to offer, process and administer BUAs.
  • Developing and delivering communications and marketing collateral to facilitate the uptake of the mechanism.
  • Building relationship and negotiating with stakeholders, including State Government, to ensure the effective delivery of the mechanism.

The role will be located in the City of Adelaide, with its services not limited to the City of Adelaide’s boundary.
