BRISBANE METRO UPDATE

Brisbane City Council have announced several updates to the Brisbane Metro project.

The updates include:

• Announcement of preferred tenderer to design and deliver infrastructure works
• Revised scope of works to the Cultural Centre Precinct
• Upgrading of the Peel St, Grey St, and Stanley Place intersection
• Construction of new sewerage pump station at Grey St, South Brisbane
• Construction of a new metro depot at Rochedale
• Vehicle manufacturer HESS, in conjunction with Brisbane based company Volgren, and ABB will be the suppliers for the metro fleet.
