Brisbane City Council Budget 2021/22

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner handed down the city’s 2021/22 Budget on Wednesday 16 June, including in it a record $1.2 billion infrastructure investment. Recognising the growth expected from interstate migration and the highly probable successful 2032 Olympics bid, the budget has included provisions to continue the % infrastructure charge rebate for Green Building Design and 33% infrastructure charge rebate for Universal Design.

With a 3.75% rate rise announced across all rating categories, we encourage all Property Council members to seek advice on what impact this will have on their properties.
