Brisbane Airport’s New Flight Path Tool Released

Brisbane Airport Corporation has released information on Brisbane Airport’s new flight paths and a new flight path tool, which allows users to search any address and understand the impacts flight paths will have in relation to the address.

The flight path tool also provides noise mapping, highlighting areas most affected by aircraft noise over 70 decibels.

Brisbane Airport’s new runway is due to open in 2020 and will allow the airport to conduct parallel runway operations- enabling parallel arrivals and departures on both runways at the same time.

In additional to a new runway, Brisbane Airport is also introducing:

• a new multilevel car park
• walkway facilities
• road terminal expansions
• terminal redevelopments
• new apron and taxiways
• road and cycling upgrades
• a number of new commercial buildings
