An exciting opportunity is available to help shape the legacy initiatives of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Nominations are now open for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympic Games Legacy Committee. The Queensland Government is seeking twelve diverse individuals from across Queensland to help shape the legacy initiatives and encourage community participation in the lead up to this once in a generation opportunity. People with wide-ranging experience from business, tourism, sport, as well accessibility and inclusion are encouraged to apply.
These twelve representatives will also include a youth representative, aged 16- 18 years.
The Legacy Committee will examine five key opportunities:
- Sport and healthy lifestyle pathways
- Human skills, networks and innovation
- Culture and creative development
- Environmental benefits and targets
- Economic benefits
