BHC announces new CEO

Brisbane Housing Company has announced the appointment of Stuart Lummis as Chief Executive Officer, commencing 28 August 2017.

Stuart was previously Director of Building, Planning Facilities and Property with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane. Stuart has been a long standing and active member of the Property Council’s committees and has made an invaluable contribution to the advocacy work of the organisation.

Stuart will take over from outgoing CEO David Cant, who has led BHC since its inception in 2002 and established the not-for-profit as Brisbane’s leading affordable housing provider. 

BHC has built and manages 1300 apartments for affordable rental, manages a further 2 properties under the NRAS investment scheme and has sold 300 homes into the market.
