AVJennings launches Central Coast communityAVJennings has launched its latest master-planned community at Hamlyn Terrace, Magnolia, on the NSW Central Coast. It follows on from its completion of the company’s Charterwood development at Wadalba.Occupying 40 ha, the Hamlyn Terrace community will be made up of 470 lots comprising a mix of residential housing options. The initial release of land has already sold out, with construction underway on the first homes and with the first settlements expected towards the end of 2015. Twelve homes will make up the first release of stage one.AVJennings plans for Magnolia to house 1200 residents by the time the neighbourhood is completed in 2019.”Homebuyers will be able to choose from a number of fully complete AVJennings homes as well as house-and-land packages with some of Australia’s leading builders,” said AVJennings’ general manager NSW, Alan Soutar. “Land-only allotments can also be purchased and built upon, in accordance with Magnolia’s design guidelines.”Wyong Shire Council Mayor Doug Eaton said the shire’s growing population meant there was demand for new housing options in the region.”It’s not just about the housing, it’s also about the infrastructure – new roads and a neighbourhood park – so it can become a thriving community hub for the new residents,” he said.Magnolia is 7 minutes from Tuggerah Lake and 8 minutes from Westfield Tuggerah. It is serviced by Warnervale train station and is close to the proposed site of the NSW Government’s Warnervale Town Centre.
