AVEO extending care via acquisitions in allied health

Aveo Retirement Living continues with their strategy to increase the level of care and support services provided to residents of their retirement villages through their Allied Health partner The Physio Co.  

Since the announcement in February 2015 of the acquisition of % interest in the Allied Health Business, The Physio Co, residents have embraced the services as the roll out of wellness classes and consultations continue. 

The strategy to invest in allied health services to better care and support residents was reinforced by the results of Aveo’s 2014 Residents Survey which indicated that 30% of residents expressed a desire for easier access to rehabilitation services when they need them.

Geoff Grady, Aveo Chief Executive Officer said: “We now have in place a platform to continually enhance the range of care and support services available to our circa 12,000 residents across Australia.”

Royal District Nursing Services (RDNS) are also a preferred provider of home care and domestic support; ensuring  all residents have access to a broad range of services.
