ATCO becomes WA Property Council’s energy partner
Property Council WA welcomes ATCO as its official energy partner.
We took this opportunity to sit down with ATCO Gas General Manager Business Development and Customer Experience, Russell James to learn more about the services ATCO can offer members as the result of this partnership:
“As the official energy partner of the Property Council (WA), ATCO can assist members across a wide range of industries to reduce their associated energy costs and emissions; and increase reliability,” Russell said.
“Through this partnership, we look forward to having the opportunity to share the expertise, information and programs we have at ATCO with members of the Property Council (WA).”
The ATCO Gas Business Development team is on hand to assist Property Council members by:
- Providing free energy modelling for commercial buildings.
- Introducing members to ATCO’s capital contribution program, which allows new sites that are not directly on the gas network to gain access, with ATCO contributing to part or all of the network extension costs.
- Addressing any energy security or supply issues they may have, including solutions to sites that are currently experiencing grid ‘brownouts’, or avoiding expensive electricity network and transformer upgrades through the use of low cost gas technology.
- Providing assistance with achieving Green Star/NABERS targets.
- Advising on clean energy innovation.
- Addressing the energy trilemma of affordability, security and sustainability.
Russell encourages members of the Property Council (WA) to contact the ATCO Gas business development team to discuss how to optimise the energy profile of their project at the earliest stage possible.
“This allows members to integrate the benefits into their entire project,” he explained, “however we’re happy to get involved and provide assistance at any stage.”
“Whether it is at the concept, design, planning or completion stage, we can offer advice on how Property Council members can optimise their energy mix to ensure energy savings, emission reductions and security of energy supply. We are here to help our customers achieve success in their business.”
