Local councils and not-for-profit organisations in New South Wales can now apply for funding to facilitate programs aimed at helping reduce social isolation among seniors.
The Reducing Social Isolation for Seniors Grant Program is an initiative to address social isolation for older people. It funds projects that support seniors to connect with others and address the challenges that contribute to social isolation. Applications close Monday 19 September 2022.

The Queensland Government is offering grants up to $1,000 to community organisations that can improve community connections for vulnerable women aged 55 years and over.
The Stay Connected Fund financially supports organisations with ideas and initiatives that aim to help people connect and belong, especially older women.
Applicants must deliver the funded services in Queensland and connect services to the housing and support hub for older women. Applications close 14 October 2022. More information [HERE].
