AMP, oOh! Media form partnershipAMP Capital has announced it will partner with leading outdoor media provider oOh! Media to manage the advertising space within Macquarie Centre, which is now undergoing a $440 million redevelopment.The exclusive collaboration will give AMP Capital Shopping Centres access to oOh! Media’s network of Australian-based advertisers, as well as its extensive media buying power. The unique deal will also include a new 30-metre digital roof panel”an innovation for in-centre advertising.The digital screen panel has been custom produced for the space by creative technology agency Spinifex Group. It is expected to help transform Macquarie Centre into an engaging place for visitors, thanks to its bespoke content and artistic visuals. Under the agreement, oOh! will also have access to all ad spaces within the centre, plus any digital signage on the exterior.AMP says the partnership with oOh! will enable it to reach a much larger audience and engage with customers who may have otherwise been out of reach.The partnership is set to commence in July, to coincide with the unveiling of the first stage of Macquarie Centre’s $440 million redevelopment. This initial stage will feature a fresh food precinct, more than 30 specialty food and grocery retailers, a café, dining precinct and two-floor fashion galleria. The second and final stage is due to be complete in October.
