Imagine a portal, a golden portal ready to show you the world. The extraordinary Portal – developed by Shared_Studios – presented by Renewal SA will bring a new purpose to the former Royal Adelaide Hospital site.

Step into the Adelaide_Portal to connect with others around the globe, share experiences and discover other cultures. You can talk, work, collaborate, debate and play across all forms of distance as if sharing the same space.

The Portal is equipped with immersive audio-visual technology, so when you enter, you come face-to-face with someone in a distant Portal live and full-body, as if in the same room.

Our curators are on site to help you engage with communities from around the world. With diverse locations in more than 15 countries around the world, you can visit schools, refugee sites, cultural centres, public parks, businesses, conferences, and events.

When

The Adelaide_Portal opens from Saturday 11 November 2017 at 7.30pm and runs daily until Saturday 31 March 2018.
