A Year in Pictures: Highlights and achievements of 2017
It’s been a huge year for the Property Council WA Division. The WA Division have outnumbered 2016 with more submissions lodged, meetings with Ministers, Parliamentarians and Policy Advisors, delivered more fantastic events and achieved more media mentions.
There have been several significant achievements to date including:
1. The commitment by the WA Government to establish Infrastructure WA;
2. The retention of Independent Development Assessment Panels by the new Labor Government;
3. No increase in property taxes in 2017-18 WA Budget;
4. The launch of the Big and Small Ideas for Perth Report which has renewed interest in plans to revive the CBD by State and local government;
5. The WA Government committed to passing Strata Reform
