0 Women in Property Workshop
The Property Council’s 0 Women in Property participants attended a professional development workshop on Tuesday 7 August, upholding the program’s core purpose of championing women within their organisation or business sphere.
Run in partnership with Davidson and hosted by MinterEllison, participants were asked to partake in a psychometric test ahead of the session, with the purpose being to develop self-awareness around professional performance, strengths, weaknesses and career progression.
Ineke McMahon, Principal Consultant for Davidson, provided a fantastic overview of the common themes arising from participants’ results, and then facilitated a workshop to identify strategies to build on areas where further focus is needed.
Themes such as resilience, flexibility and negotiation were discussed and workshopped by the group throughout the morning.
The workshop follows a series of informal industry catch ups and a property trivia night, run as part of the Property Council’s 0 Women in Property Program.
The Property Council would like to thank Ineke and Davidson for extending this valuable opportunity to participants, and MinterEllison for hosting the workshop.
Thank you also to The GPT Group, national sponsors of the 0 Women in Property program.
