0 Women in Property Briefing Event

The 0 Women in Property Program, an initiative of the Property Council of Australia, held a professional development event for participants in the program, on Wednesday 22 May.

65 participants attended the event to hear from our esteemed guest speaker, Lisa Nixon, Managing Director of BBS Communications.

The event was opened by Tammy Berghofer, Special Counsel for MinterEllison and a presentation was provided by Nathan Percy, Senior Policy Advisor for the Property Council of Australia.

Following these introductions, Lisa provided an incredibly valuable presentation on mastering several professional development related topics, including pubic speaking, managing meetings, networking and mastering LinkedIn.

Originally created as 100 Women in Property, the program has received an outstanding level of interest year-on-year and was extended to the 0 Women in Property Program in 2018. This year witnessed a record high number of nominations, reaching over 1000 nation-wide.

The program aims to champion women in their organisation or business sphere who would benefit from further networking, profiling and professional development opportunities.
