0 Women in Property nominations open

Property Council’s Diversity Committees throughout Australia have identified a need to champion women in their organisation, offering them an opportunity to be the beneficiaries of networking and professional development options.

The program 0 Women in Property has been overwhelmingly endorsed, last year receiving 1100 nominations from participants and 1100 sponsors. The high uptake meant that some participants were allocated to this year’s programs. However, despite the full allocation of places along the eastern seaboard in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, there are still some places available in other States and Territories, including Western Australia.

WA nominations open today (Monday February 3) and close on Friday 14 February, 2020.

Property Council WA Executive Director Sandra Brewer said the program was designed to create a more diverse, inclusive industry and to ensure the industry had an opportunity to identify and build on the talent within its ranks.

“Places for this genuinely worthwhile program will fill up quickly,” Ms Brewer said.

If you want to participate, you can either submit your application individually or, for a company, for up to five participants, using the online portal.
