2018 Retirement Census opens
Since 2014, the PwC/Property Council Retirement Census has been the biggest survey of Australia’s retirement living sector, with the 2017 Census representing more than 56,000 homes across the country.
Now we need your data to make the 2018 Retirement Census even bigger and better.
The Census has become a regular staple of the sector, with fresh information provided by industry operators being analysed for key metrics: from occupancy rates to resident demographics; and new developments to the refurbishment of older units.
We are now asking for data contributions for the 2018 PwC/Property Council Retirement Census from all retirement village operators. The more information we receive, the more significant the results and the more relevant and useful the Census will be to you.
Earlier this week, all Property Council retirement living member representatives were emailed the 2018 Census spreadsheet to complete. If your organisation didn’t receive this email, or you don’t know who your member representative is, please contact Leida Pirts on 07 3225 3006 or [email protected].
For participating in the Census, members will receive a personalised data-rich analysis report, which you can use to benchmark your company’s performance against industry averages.
Your participation also benefits our entire industry; more data received vastly improves transparency and promotes external investment, and greatly assists the Property Council to undertake advocacy on the industry’s behalf, by showing the reach of our membership and the need for policy settings that allow for greater investment in the sector.
The data collection for the 2018 PwC/Property Council Retirement Census closes on 31 August 2018. Further information, including historic Census results, can be found at www.retirementliving.org.au/census.
