Another Successful Women in Property Mentoring ProgramThe Property Council has concluded the second annual Women in Property Mentoring Program in WA, which aims to help promote and develop women for senior leadership roles in the property industry. The program successfully attracted a very high calibre of participants with mentoring relations facilitated between women in middle to senior management roles with more senior leaders and decision makersThe five-month program included highly experiential, interactive workshops, facilitated group discussions and six to eight one-on-one meetings between mentee and mentor. “This program allowed the mentees to gain new perspectives to advance their career and develop meaningful professional connections and personal sponsors,” WA Executive Director Lino Iacomella said. “For the mentors the program allowed them to learn how to cultivate a more balanced culture that opens the door to leadership opportunities for men and women,” Mr Iacomella said. On behalf of the Property Council, Women & Diversity Committee and Serendis Consulting, we would like to thanks the following organisations for their participation and support of the 2016 program: Access Housing, LandCorp, Bankwest, Mirvac, Colliers International, CBRE, Cameron Chisholm Nicol, EY, Frasers Property, Hassell, Cedar Woods, KPA Architects, AMP Capital, APP & Scentre Group.
