197 St Georges Terrace Endorsed As Waterwise197 St Georges Terrace has become the eighth office building to be endorsed as Waterwise by the Property Council of Australia, Water Corporation and City of Perth.The Waterwise Office Program, launched in 2014, provides building owners and managers with a tool to assess the water use performance of their building, compared to an industry standard. Buildings are eligible for recognition as a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Waterwise Office based on water use performance. 197 St Georges has been recognised as a Waterwise Gold Office based on water use performance for the 2013/14 year. Water efficiency measures implemented in the building include: bathroom upgrades with dual flush toilets and new smart flush urinals on motion sensors, water wise plants to reduce irrigation use and tenant and contractor education to raise awareness of water use.
