Mirvac advised that Non-Executive Director, Samantha Mostyn AO, has resigned from the Mirvac Board, following the announcement that she has been appointed as the 28th Governor General of Australia.

Knight Frank has made a new appointment to its industrial team in Perth, with Lachlan Lewis appointed as Senior Sales and Leasing Executive.

Lachlan has more than 30 years’ experience in property, having worked over his career for organisations including Transact Capital, CBRE, JLL, Stanton Hillier Parker (Burgess Rawson) and Roy Weston.

He moves to Knight Frank from his most recent role as Director of Office and Metro Markets at Transact Capital.

CBRE has appointed Trent Hobart as Head of Development within the Capital Markets Pacific team.

Based in Melbourne, he will lead the newly restructured National development team, looking after land and development site sales, with a particular focus on developments in the living sector.

Mr Hobart brings with him more than 18 years of real estate experience. Over the past five years he was involved in the sale of more than half of the major development sites sales across Melbourne’s CBD and city-fringe. Trent worked at CBRE for seven years from 2007.

Savills Australia and New Zealand has appointed ex-Wallaby player, Drew Mitchell, to its Hotel team.

Drew, based in the agency’s Sydney office from, will take the role of Manager, Hotels and will focus his attention towards the New South Wales pubs sector as Savills continues to expand its national hotel representation.

Mr Mitchell is known as the highest try scorer in World Cup history with a successful international career. Mitchell played for the Western Force the 2007 to 2009 Super 14 seasons, before playing from 2010 to 2013 for the New South Wales Waratahs before his stint playing for RC Toulon.

Cadie Doorley has started a new role as Marketing Manager at Richard Crookes Constructions.

PEXA Group Limited announced the resignation of Alice Morrison as Company Secretary. James Orr remains as Company Secretary of PEXA Group Ltd.
