Buildcorp, has bolstered its executive leadership team, with the announcement of several recent appointments.

Jeff Jones has accepted the role of Chief Financial Officer. Mr Jones has broad industry experience across tier-two construction, engineering and property development.

The executive leadership team will be further strengthened with the introduction of Chief People Officer (CPO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) roles.

Donna Hoblos, who joined the company in 2022, has been promoted to the Chief People Officer role.

Jordan Sukkar has been promoted to the COO role, overseeing Business Strategy, Commercial, Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ), IT & Technology, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Marketing & Communications.

With the introduction of the COO role, Stephen Surjan, who joined Buildcorp in 2022 as Operations Manager, has been promoted to the role of General Manager New Build sector in NSW.

CBRE has announced three promotions in Queensland to help drive future business growth and harness the skills and experience of its senior executive team.

These involve Bruce Baker taking on a new role as Executive Managing Director Queensland and Capital Markets, Chris Butters assuming the role as Senior Managing Director Queensland alongside his Brisbane Managing Director responsibilities and Coen Riddle taking over as Queensland State Director of CBRE’s Office Leasing – Investor business.

Cushman & Wakefield has unveiled its new team, Advisory+.

The newly created Advisory+ team will partner with clients on complex-built environment projects to provide end-to-end, sector-specific advisory services from conceptualisation and planning phases through to execution.

Leading this initiative is Ross Hamilton, who joins as Partner and Head of Cushman & Wakefield Advisory+, Asia Pacific. He brings over three decades of experience in the professional real estate advisory sector, including 17 years as a Partner at EY and PwC.

Christina Hobbes and Alan Herrman have also been appointed as Partner, Cushman & Wakefield Advisory+, Australia & New Zealand.

JLL has announced the appointment of Jamie Horton as Senior Consultant for its NSW Tenant Representation business. Jamie will be responsible for covering the CBD and Northern Sydney and metro market.

Prior to joining JLL, they served as a key member of the Cadigal Office Leasing team since 2017.

Also at JLL, Jaime Kernaghan has been announced as the Head of Office Leasing – Northern Sydney.

Mr Kernaghan takes over the role from Paul Lynch, who has led the North Sydney Office Leasing business for the past 13 years. Mr Lynch, after 25 years at JLL, will continue to contribute to the firm’s success as JLL’s Head of Northern Sydney.

Colliers announced the appointment of Luke Hayes as Director | Residential.

He has previous experience at Venture Property and LT Property Partners, as well as The Agency Projects Australia.

Staying with Colliers, the group announced the appointment of Sam Quintner to Queensland’s Retail Leasing business as Associate Director, located in the Brisbane office.

They join Colliers after recently working in retail leasing and sales at Blue Commercial and acquisitions and development at German Supermarket company Kaufland.

Bentleys has announced the appointment of Simon Boag to assume the role of CEO. He was most recently the CEO of SportsMed and prior, Bensons Radiology.

Savills Australia and New Zealand has bolstered its capital transactions capabilities in Sydney, welcoming senior operative Tyler Talbot to the team. Mr Talbot joins the Sydney office in the role of Director, Capital Transactions.
