Frasers Property Australia Chief Executive Officer Anthony Boyd has been promoted to the role of Group Chief Operating Officer for Frasers Property Limited, with Cameron Leggatt to step up to the role of Chief Executive Officer in Australia.

Emily Wood takes over as Executive General Manager Development, the role vacated by Mr Leggatt to be supported by John Dawson, who takes on the new role of General Manager – National Operations, reporting to Ms Wood.

Mr Boyd has been CEO of Frasers Property Australia for the past four years and during his 19-year tenure with the company has also held the roles of Executive General Manager Residential and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the company, he worked in senior roles with Cathay Pacific Airways and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr Leggatt has been with Frasers Property for 13 years and prior to the Executive General Manager Development role, he was General Manager of the company’s Queensland business. Prior to joining the company, he was an Associate Director at Macquarie Bank.

Ingenia Communities Group announced the appointment of John Carfi as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April 2024.

He brings to the role more than 20 years of large company leadership experience and extensive real estate expertise. He developed his career in two of Australia’s leading public property companies, Lendlease Group and Mirvac, culminating in him being appointed CEO of Residential Development at Mirvac. More recently he was the CEO of Emaar Properties and CEO of Aqualand Australia.

Incumbent Managing Director and CEO, Simon Owen, will proceed to step back from day-to-day operational activities of the business in February. Justin Mitchell, the Group’s Chief Financial Officer, will oversee day-to-day business operations ahead of Mr Carfi’s commencement.

Real estate non-bank lender and investment manager, Centuria Bass Credit, has appointed 25-year experienced financier, Tom O’Donnell, as Executive Director – Private Capital.

He joins Centuria Bass’ executive team in its Sydney office and will support Centuria Bass’ distribution and investor relations strategy across the business.

Mr O’Donnell’s more recently held positions include Pallas Capital, Partner – Distribution; ANZ, Private Wealth Director NSW/ACT; and Credit Suisse, Vice President – Head of Business Development, Private Bank Australia.

Stacey Walker has recently been appointed as the Head of Consulting and Sales Solutions, APAC for Altus Group. Prior to that she was with Charter Hall as their Head of Tenant & Community Technology and is currently a member of the NSW Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee at the Property Council of Australia.

Jennifer Tyler has been promoted to General Counsel at Richard Crookes Constructions.

Having managed the establishment, professional development and growth of the Legal team for three years, she will continue to lead the management and development of legal services and operations as General Counsel.

Colliers announced the appointment of Scott Jackman to their Australian leadership team as Managing Director of Project Leaders for Australia.

He will be based in Colliers’ Sydney CBD office and was previously the Managing Director of CBRE Project Management. Prior to this role, he was the longstanding Director of Paragon Project Management.

Also at Colliers, Sankey Prasad has been promoted to the expanded role of Chairman and Managing Director for India & Project Leaders Middle East.

Dexus Industria REIT (DXI) announced the appointment of Gordon Korkie as the groups Fund Manager.

He has been with the group for seven years, most recently as the Assistant Fund Manager of DXI. Prior to joining Dexus, Gordon held various roles at APN Property Group, Federation Centres (now Vicinity Centres), Credit Suisse and Aspect Huntley.

Rebecca Pinkstone has been named the inaugural Chief Executive of Homes NSW, the new Department of Communities and Justice division to drive positive change in the housing and homelessness sectors.

Cameron Rubenach has been promoted to Head of Data Centre Development at Goodman Group.

FDC announced the appointment of Russel Grady as the groups’ next managing Director who is taking over from Ben Cottle who has transitioned into the role of FDC’s Non-Executive Chairman.

Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its Sydney South Logistics & Industrial team with five appointments.

Tom Barnier and Nick Mallet have been appointed to the roles of Directors, Joint Heads of Brokerage, Logistics & Industrial Sydney South and will lead the team. Jake Savery and Eliza Dedman have been appointed as Associate Directors and Matthew Simmon appointed as an Analyst, and will join Tim Cassidy, in the Sydney South office.

Elanor Investors has elected Ian Mackie as Chair to replace Paul Bedbrook who retired as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of Elanor Investors Group.

The group also appointed Kathy Ostin as a Non-Executive Director of Elanor effective as part of a succession process for the planned retirement of Nigel Ampherlawby the expiration of his term in late 2024.
