CBRE has strengthened its Pacific Living Sectors Capital Markets business with the appointment of Shauny Bult.
Ms Bult has transferred to Sydney after six years in CBRE’s London office, where she has accessed capital from around the globe for large scale build-to-rent projects and transacted on circa £4.5bn (approximately 6,800 units) across development funding structures, joint ventures and completed investment sales.
In her new role as Director, Living Sectors Capital Markets, Ms Bult will work closely with Andrew Purdon, the Regional Director of CBRE’s Pacific Living Sector Capital Markets business, to drive the firm’s service offering in the fast-growing build-to-rent, purpose-built student accommodation, co-living, single family housing and affordable housing sectors.

Following a 10-year career as an Infantry Officer in the Australian Army, serving in multiple deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, Mr McDonald transitioned into business and the hotels sector with the acquisition of two Quest Hotels in WA. He still owns the largest Quest franchise in the state, Quest East Perth. Mr McDonald developed the hotel advisory business, Hotel Intel, which provides consultative services for hotel and hospitality real estate owners, developers and operators.
