Knight Frank has appointed property marketing and communications expert Sally Edvardsen as Partner, Chief Client Officer.

The newly created role will oversee Knight Frank’s franchises, research, creative services, brand marketing, digital marketing transformation and communications.

Ms Edvardsen has more than 22 years’ experience in property marketing across a diverse range of sectors, having previously worked in key national roles for major property developers, owners and agencies including Lendlease, Stockland and McGrath Estate Agents.

Ethos Urban has announced the appointment of Aurecon planning capability lead Jules Griffith as its newest Director to its expanding Melbourne team.

Mr Griffith brings over 25 years of experience in statutory and strategic planning in Victoria and the United States, having led several high-profile projects, including large-scale rezoning requests, commercial and industrial land development, defence and site master planning, renewable energy approvals, planning due diligence and transport infrastructure approvals.

Global professional services company GHD has appointed Lucy Hovanec as Regional General Manager for ACT and Southern NSW.

In her new role, Lucy will lead more than 200 people in Canberra, Wagga Wagga, Bega, Nowra and Wollongong, as well as GHD’s operations in Papua New Guinea.

With a consulting career spanning more than 20 years, she joined GHD in 2017 to lead the growth of its International Development Assistance team. Since then, she has held a series of leadership roles, most recently heading Delivery Phase Services.

She succeeds May Ngui who is retiring after a 38-year career in engineering, including 32 years of service at GHD.
