RLB has announced the appointment of four new directors in New South Wales.
Syidah Arnold – She joined RLB in 2013 having worked previously in real estate and architectural practices in Newcastle.
Mark Brasher – Since joining RLB’s cadetship scheme in 2007, he has delivered major projects including the $200 million upgrade of 388 George Street, the $865 million T2 and T3 Barangaroo Towers and significant distribution centres for Woolworths.
Ryan Jones – With accounting and finance qualifications, Ryan Jones is RLB’s Financial Controller. Commencing in the RLB NSW business in 2017.
Michael Mihailou – With a masters in property development and bachelor’s in construction management and property, Michael Mihailou has led major redevelopments including a $1.6 billion Martin Place project for Macquarie Bank and Aqualand’s $2 billion development at Central Barangaroo.
Cushman & Wakefield has announced new senior hires in its Capital Advisory business in Australia and Greater China.
In Australia, Trevor Maitland has been appointed as National Senior Director of Capital Advisory, ANZ. He has a decade of corporate/commercial banking and leadership experience having previously served as Regional Executive at ANZ Banking Group.
Vincent Marotta has also joined the firm as National Director of Capital Advisory, ANZ, bringing over 16 years of banking and finance experience, with a focus on commercial and corporate/institutional banking. He previously worked at GE Capital, ANZ Bank, and Deloitte before starting his own commercial debt advisory business.
In Hong Kong, Canon Yau has been appointed as Managing Director, Capital Advisory, Greater China. He has over 20 years of experience in direct investments, deal structuring and capital raising for real estate strategies across Greater China, Australia, EMEA and the US.
Local Residential has announced the appointment of Jennie Fojtik as its Head of Operations. She has over eight years’ experience in build-to-rent operations and 20 years’ experience working across residential property in the UK. Ms Fojtik will be joining Local Residential direct from her most recent role of Head of Mobilisation at Quintain, having been integral in establishing their build-to-rent arm at Wembley Park where she oversaw mobilising 3,650 homes.
CBRE has promoted Harry Einarson to head the firm’s Retail and Metropolitan Investments businesses in South Australia.
After leading the Metropolitan Investments team for the past five years, the promotion to Senior Director, Metropolitan and Retail Investments, expands Mr Einarson’s remit to cater to the growing client demand for retail investment product in South Australia.
National property valuation firm M3 Property announced the appointment of Non-Executive Director Graham Pearson to its board of directors.
Mr Pearson is currently a Non-Executive Director at Investa Property Group, an independent member of the Wingate Direct Property Investment Committee, and a consultant for NorthWest Healthcare Properties REIT.
John Hawkins has retired from his position as a Non-Executive Director of PEXA Group, and a Link Group Nominee Director.
Sticking with Board appointments, Tian An Australia advised that Peter Brown will retire from its Board as Chairman and Independent Director. Peter Curry has been appointed as the Chairman of the company.
Lendlease Global Chief Executive Officer, Tony Lombardo, announced the Group’s Head of Italy and Continental Europe, Andrea Ruckstuhl, had been appointed CEO Europe.
