ISPT has welcomed trio of new talent to its recently reshaped Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and has celebrated the elevation of Steven Peters to the newly formed role of Chief Sustainability Officer.

The newest ELT members include:

  • Matthew Brown, Group Executive, Head of Funds Management, who will focus on driving product innovation and fund performance
  • William Walker, Chief Investment and Development Officer, who will unlock value within the existing portfolio and fuel a proactive approach to new opportunities
  • Amanda Steele, who joins as Group Executive, Head of Property, to drive a step change in consolidated property services delivery
  • Steven Peters, Chief Sustainability Officer – reinforcing the importance of ESG for ISPT, our investors and customers.

National property valuation firm, M3 Property, has announced the appointment of Ross Farwell as Director, Industrial for Queensland in a move that will bolster the team in Brisbane. 

Mr Farwell joins M3 Property from Charter Keck Cramer, where he has spent over five years as a director in the industrial team with a focus on South East Queensland. He has been involved in valuations and consultancy advice of all sizes and locations, including industrial development, cold storage, manufacturing facilities and multi-tenanted facilities.

Urbis has announced James Tuma as its new Managing Partner, bringing more than 25 years of strategy, design and advisory expertise to the senior shareholder position. He currently leads Urbis’ strategic advisory arm, Future State. In his new role as Managing Partner, Mr Tuma will support Urbis CEO Ben Pollack to deliver on strategy for Urbis and Cistri. 

CBRE has appointed Tess Lambourne as its new General Counsel for Pacific, and to the company’s Pacific Executive Committee.

Ms Lambourne has relocated to Sydney after a decade in CBRE’s Dubai office, where she was Head of Legal & Compliance, and Director of Operations for the firm’s Middle East Advisory business.

She began her career as a lawyer in 2007 in her hometown of Melbourne and also worked in Cambodia and Pakistan before joining CBRE in Dubai in 2013.

Taylor Burrell Barnett (TBB), an urban planning and design firm based in Perth, has announced the appointment of Samantha Thompson as its new Managing Director, alongside some wider changes to its leadership team.

Effective 1 July 2023, Ms Thompson will assume the role of Managing Director, succeeding Lex Barnett, who will be stepping down from the partnership, into a newly created role of Practice Fellow.

Ms Thompson will become the first female Managing Director in the firm’s 53 years. Ms Thompson, who joined the firm 31 years ago, brings 16 years of experience as a Partner and Director at TBB.

In addition to the Partnership changes, a newly created General Manager position will be taken up by Joanne Tanzi, who joined the firm as a Principal of Business Development two years ago and has since transitioned into a key leader within the business.

Dana Sekar has started a new position as Associate – WA | Marketing and Communications at Brookfield Properties

Staying in WA, Grace Bailey has been promoted to Senior Executive Office Leasing for Colliers in Perth.
