Colliers announced the appointment of two new members to its Investment Services Asia Markets team in Melbourne.

Yvonne Zhou has joined as Manager, Asia Markets and James Zhuang as Executive, Asia Markets, to further bolster the Asia Markets team lead by Harry Bui.

Ms Zhou has experience working across multiple corporate agencies over the past eight years and has built expertise across various sectors, including office, retail, development sites and alternative asset categories such as childcare and medical.

Mr Zhuang has a decade of experience in property development and residential, commercial and industrial sales and leasing.

Arup has appointed a new First Nations Projects Lead in Australasia, Melanie Grills. The newly created external-facing role will enable Arup to apply a First Nations cultural lens across its project portfolio, recognising the importance and impact of First Nations knowledge and leadership in areas such as sustainability, knowledge community wellbeing, land management and social change.

Ethos Urban announced the appointment of Karen Armstrong as its new Director, Planning based in its Sydney office.

She joins Ethos Urban with more than 30 years of experience in planning and development across state and local government and the private sector.

Prior to joining Ethos Urban, she was National Planning Manager in Lendlease’s Retirement Living team and previously worked in the New South Wales state government including the Department of Planning and Environment as Director of Sydney Region East, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and the Office of the Minister for Planning.

Piper Duck, the captain of the NSW Waratahs Women’s team and recently appointed captain of the Wallaroos, has joined Knight Frank’s Asset Management Services (AMS) team in a part-time position with flexible hours.

To balance her sporting responsibilities and work, Piper will be working two days per week at Knight Frank’s Sydney office, specifically in Lease Administration.

Arthur George Dew has retired as a non-executive director of Tian An Australia.
