Scentre Group advised that its Chair Brian Schwartz AM has announced his intention to retire from the Board of Scentre Group on 30 September 2023. Mr Schwartz has been the Group’s Chair since 2016.
The Board has endorsed Ilana Atlas AO as Chair-Elect. She was appointed to the Scentre Group Board in 2021.
Meanwhile, Executive Managing Director of Property Management for CBRE’s Pacific Region Amanda Steele will be starting a new role at ISPT as the Head of Property.
Hayball announced the opening of its newest office in Canberra.
Following the completion of several projects in Canberra and with new prospects underway, Hayball has appointed Ella Masters as the Studio Lead. She will oversee the practice’s regional strategy across a wide range of sectors, including education, multi-residential and commercial.
Goodman Group appointed George Zoghbi, as an Independent Director of Goodman Limited and Goodman Funds Management Limited.
Currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Arnott’s Group following its acquisition by private equity group KKR, Mr Zoghbi has extensive international consumer packaged goods and supply chain experience. He is also a Director of Brambles Limited and a Strategic Advisor to Altimetrik – a USbased digital and IT solutions company. Previously, George was Chief Operating Officer – US Businesses at Kraft Heinz and prior to that Chief Operating Officer at Kraft Foods Group. He has also held senior roles with Fonterra Cooperative and Associated British Foods.
Cromwell Property advised that Michael Foster has been appointed as Company Secretary.
Ronak Bhimjiani has been promoted to Director, Real Estate Economist – Australia at JLL after five years as the WA team’s research lead.
Back to CBRE, Shikar Maharaj has been promoted to Senior Property Manager while Yee Yee Wong has been promoted to Associate Director.
