CBRE has further strengthened its Living Sectors Capital Markets platform with the appointment of Alex Shaw, who has transferred from the firm’s London office.

Mr Shaw brings nine years of residential transactions and advisory experience in the London and South East England markets to his new role as Director, Living Sectors Capital Markets – Pacific.

CI Australia has announced the appointment of Lana Asscher as the new Head of Leasing – North Shore.

With over 20 years of experience in the commercial property sector, she brings a wealth of expertise to the role, having previously worked for CI and most recently as an Asset Manager at Gong Capital.

Prior to this, she spent eight years at JLL in roles such as Asset Manager and Manager – Property & Asset Management. Her experience also includes working as a Commercial CBD Sales Manager at Knight Frank.

The group has also appointed Julian Luciano as the new Leasing Executive at their North Sydney office.

Before joining CI Australia, he worked as a Sales Associate and Leasing Consultant at Chadwick Real Estate.

Global professional services company GHD has appointed Jill Hannaford as its new Executive General Manager, Technical Services. In this newly created role, she will focus on accelerating technical innovation in response to growing global client needs, especially in water, energy and urbanisation.  

With a career at GHD spanning 30 years, Ms Hannaford has held a variety of senior roles. Most recently, she was the Global Future Communities Lead and General Manager, Technical Services for APAC.  

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Colliers has welcomed Neil Scanlan as the National Director of Hotels Asset Management, based in Brisbane.

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed a 14 strong Investment Sales team in Victoria, comprising 10 brokers and four support staff.

The team will be led by commercial brokers, Daniel Wolman and Oliver Hay, as International Directors & Co-Head Investment Sales. Senior operators also joining the team include Leon Ma, Anthony Kirwan, George Davies, Alexander Leggo, Jeff Ha and Karim Ford.

TFE Hotels has announced a new global leadership structure to help steer business and operational strategy and drive future expansion.

Amanda Hoolihan, Katia Giurtalis and Shahnaz Bakhshay have been promoted into new Global Officer roles.

Brisbane-based Ms Hoolihan will take the reins as the Global Revenue Officer, Ms Giurtalis has been tasked with driving a brand-centric cultural shift as Global Marketing Officer, while Ms Bakhshay will be the Global Sales Officer.

Greystar has appointed a new managing director, who will be responsible for investor relations in the Asia-Pacific region.

Bianca Solomons adds 12 years of expertise to the formal position of managing director, investor relations, Asia-Pacific, after leaving Alceon Group.

KordaMentha has added three additional real estate professionals to its team as the business strives to expand its development and investment capabilities in NSW.

Tony Massaro’s hiring as a partner is driving the expansion. Massaro comes to KordaMentha from PwC Australia, where he was the leader of the firm’s real estate advisory unit in Sydney.

Paul McNamara and Nicholas Lucas both join the team as director and associate director, respectively.
