
The Property Council of Australia announced the appointment of Ashlee Berry as its ACT and Capital Region Executive Director.
Ms Berry brings with her a wealth of ACT advocacy experience honed in the property industry and as a lawyer. Prior to joining the Property Council Ashlee worked as Member Services Director at Master Builders ACT, as a senior associate in a private legal practice and as a solicitor in NSW.
Ms Berry will commence the role in coming months.

Sophie Lam has become a Director in the Brisbane Planning team after joining as a consultant.

Warren and Mahoney has announced that Alexandra Hornby has been appointed to Principal East Coast Studios.
She joins the Principal team in her new role as Commercial Director of WAM’s integrated East Coast Studio (Melbourne and Sydney).

PEXA Group announced the appointment of Georgina Lynch as an independent Non-Executive Director from 1 September 2024.
She is currently Chair of Cbus Property, (a wholly owned entity of Cbus Super) and Chair of ASX-listed Waypoint REIT. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Vicinity Centres and Evolve Housing. Past listed directorships include Tassal Group and Irongate Group.
As part of progressing its Board renewal processes, Lifestyle Communities announced two forthcoming changes.
First, the appointment of JoAnne Stephenson as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 1 July 2024.
JoAnne spent more than 25 years with KMPG, 15 years as a Partner, with experience across the audit, insolvency and advisory divisions. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Challenger and Qualitas.
During 2023, JoAnne retired from her roles as Chair and Non-Executive Director of Myer Holdings and Chair of the Victorian Major Transport Infrastructure Advisory Board.
Secondly, Lifestyle Communities announced that Philippa Kelly will retire from the Board as Chair with effect from 31 August 2024. Philippa has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since September 2013 and fulfilled the role of Chair since September 2019.
Qualitas announced that long-serving Director, Michael Schoenfeld will retire from the Board at the end of the financial year on 30 June 2024.
Staying at Qualitas, Andrew Thurin has joined as an Investment Analyst and Stephen O’Keeffe has joined as Director of Origination in the Investment team, based in Sydney.
Alastair MacCallum has started a new position as Property and Buildings Market Leader at GHD.
