Peter is Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Community Villages Australia Pty Ltd, the owner, manager and operator of the Village Glen, Eastbourne Road, West Rosebud. Peter has been involved in the development, operation and management of Village Glen since 1978.

The Village Glen is Victoria’s largest Retirement Village on a 50 hectare site comprising 573 independent living villas, 16 two bedroom and 42 one bedroom independent living apartments and a 170 bed Residential Aged Care Facility.  The site contains a nine hole par 3 golf course, a clubhouse & café, The Palms Dining Room, CJ’s lounge, a 45 seat picture theatre, comprehensive library,15m indoor pool spa and gymnasium complex, an 8 rink turf bowling green and croquet lawn,  a building dedicated to craft activities, a woodwork and hobby workshop, a village shop, a hair dressing salon.

The Village was commenced in 1978 and the first resident moved into their new home in November 1980.  The Village has been developed in stages and now incorporates residential aged care and home care on site within a continuum of care model.

Peter was a member of the committee of Retirement Village Association (RVA) of Victoria from 1995 until 2005. He served as their State President in 2005 and as a member of the Board of the Retirement Village Association of Australia in 2005. Peter has been a Board Member of the Retirement living Council since it merged the RVA in 2012.
