Donna is a Principal at Russell Kennedy Lawyers in the Property and Retirement Living team with over 22 years’ experience. She advises owners, operators and developers of retirement village communities in relation to acquisitions and divestment of properties in the seniors living sector, legal compliance issues, facility structuring and preparation of resident contract documentation. Her experience also includes an 18-month secondment to Lendlease to provide in-house advice on a major retirement village re-contracting project. Donna is a trusted lawyer to her clients, having been recognised by Best Lawyers for her expertise in Retirement Villages and Senior Living Law since 2013.

She is also the co deputy chair of Russell Kennedy’s Reconciliation Action Plan committee, a member of the Retirement Living Council Housing Supply and Affordability sub-committee, a former board member of WPI a not for profit, community housing organisation that provides permanent and affordable housing for women and children at risk of homelessness and a regular presenter on matters pertaining to the retirement village sector.
