Allan McNeil is the Policy Manager of the Queensland Division of the Property Council of Australia. With more than two decades of experience across the public and private sector, Allan brings a wealth of expertise in strategic communications, advocacy and government relations.

Allan has the privilege of supporting the Queensland Retirement Living Committee, with a focus on working with members and all levels of government to deliver more housing for Queensland’s retirees.

Prior to beginning with the Property Council, Allan has worked in state and local government, and has a strong appreciation of the importance of industry and governments working together to deliver the homes, jobs and infrastructure needed to support communities.

Beginning his career as a journalist, Allan appreciates the role of the “fourth estate” in driving positive outcomes and the importance of recognising and celebrating the positive contribution made by the property sector.
