Person Centred Software Award for Salesperson of the Year
The Award recognises a salesperson who achieves outstanding results in leading and driving sales of retirement living units/apartments (independent and/or ‘care’ or ‘serviced’ apartments’) at one or more retirement villages.
The Salesperson will demonstrate capability in developing and implementing sales strategies, delivering an exceptional customer experience, demonstrating strong resident and community engagement, effective collaboration with village management, maintaining strong governance together with leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
There are five categories available for nomination based on the following regions:
- NSW/ACT
- VIC/TAS
- SA/NT
- QLD
- WA
Regional finalists for each category go in the running for the respective regional Award. Regional winners are announced at Property Council of Australia state based retirement living events held from February to March 2025. The winner from each regional go in the running for the National Award which is announced at the National Retirement Living Awards Gala Dinner to be held Thursday 19 June 2025 in Brisbane.
The cost to enter this category is $250 including GST per nomination.

As Sales Manager for Aveo Pittwater Palms, Minkara Resort and Bayview Gardens, he manages the largest Aveo portfolio in NSW, consistently outperforming targets. Mindful of the significance of taking this next step for residents, Matthew invests time and care to customise unique experiences for residents.
Mark Burrows

As a roving Sales Manager Mark looks after a large portfolio of 14 villages with a total of 525 units. Mark likes to build genuine rapport and trust with potential residents by getting to know their individual needs. Mark goes above and beyond in his role to ensure residents feel comfortable and informed at every step in the sales journey. Mark ensures residents have a positive entry into retirement village living.
David Brookman
Living Choice Australia
David Brookman has worked at Living Choice for 3 and a half years. He has been the number one salesperson at Living Choice nationally throughout this time. We admire how David consistently has one goal in mind – to help people improve their lives by moving into one of our villages. He is more of a consultant than a salesperson and he will always go the extra mile whether for his clients or Living Choice Australia.

Whether a client is beginning their retirement liiving journey or is exiting the village, Wendy measures her success by how well she has met their needs. Wendy is highly supportive of her sales colleagues and extremely collaborative with other business functions such as Operations, Marketing, and Properties.

Zuzana Nevidal

Zuzana Nevidal’s is an exceptional sales manager with an outstanding 25-year career in real estate and the retirement industry, including a remarkable 14 years at Australian Unity’s Constitution Hill Retirement Community. In addition to her whopping 400 sales at Australian Unity, Zuzana achieved a new business record by exceeding her FY23 sales target by 67% resulting in 54 settlements for the year. Australian Unity is proud to be able to nominate Zuzana for the NRLA Salesperson of the Year.
