    Zuzana Nevidal’s is an exceptional sales manager with an outstanding 25-year career in real estate and the retirement industry, including a remarkable 14 years at Australian Unity’s Constitution Hill Retirement Community. In addition to her whopping 400 sales at Australian Unity, Zuzana achieved a new business record by exceeding her FY23 sales target by 67% resulting in 54 settlements for the year. Australian Unity is proud to be able to nominate Zuzana for the NRLA Salesperson of the Year.

    • Corporate Leadership Winner – Alex Penson

      Alex has demonstrated outstanding technical, business, and leadership skills that have helped transform the UnitingCare RL business. Alex uses his skills to help reposition RL within UnitingCare’s current and future business with a strategy reset. Alex’s skills and knowledge of the RL sector establish an important connection for RL within the broader organisation and ensures RL and associated legislation is considered in any decision making. Alex’s leadership has both optimised asset performance and reshaped RL’s strategic importance within UnitingCare

      At 32 years of age, Josh is a hands-on, collaborative, and enthusiastic leader. Since he first volunteered as a bingo caller, he’s dedicated himself to caring for older Australians. He has vastly improved Glengara Care’s team culture, recruited a strong clinical care team, overseen NSW’s 100th Home Care Package, and established partnerships with residential aged care. His experience as an Assistant in Nursing has ensured he remains empathetic and understanding, providing support, advice and learning opportunities to his team.

      In collaboration with the residents of Domainé Retirement Living, Aveo delivered the Community Centre Upgrade Project in September, 2023, transforming and refreshing 22-year old spaces and adding a sophisticated feel to the Doncaster, Victoria village. The project involved a revamp of shared spaces, and the addition of new social spaces, including a café, pergola, and barbeque area. The Community Centre’s new flexible and functional design is opening doors for residents to engage in new
      cultural, social and lifestyle experiences.

      Blue Care’s Feel at Home campaign rose to the challenge of not only accurately and honestly representing its diverse portfolio of retirement villages – from resort-style living in regional Queensland to affordable homes in suburbia – but surpassing its sales and enquiry targets by 100 settlements and 900 enquiries, and achieving the enviable rank of second-most recognisable retirement living brand in Queensland.
