Kim is absolutely honoured to again be invited to judge the Retirement Living Awards because in her words – “it is the people that make the difference and being able to celebrate their dedication, contribution and commitment to the sector that is truly humbling and rewarding.”
Kim is an experienced leader of business transformation, innovation and growth with a track record of success in the Aged Care and Retirement Living sector that spans 30 years. As an executive in both the not for profit and commercial sectors, Kim has successfully delivered new and redeveloped aged care and retirement living projects, value uplift and business transformation, strategic asset and property portfolio review, sales and operations strategy and advisory, growth through mergers and acquisitions.
Kim has contributed significantly to the sector through Board, State and national advisory positions. In recognition for her contribution to the establishment of a National Accreditation framework for the Retirement Village Industry combined with her commitment to sector advocacy, growth and development, Kim was awarded Life Membership of the Retirement Villages Association in 2006 which was also recognised as awarded by the Retirement Living Council (Property Council of Australia).
Kim has a particular passion for creating amazing communities for residents and leading teams to deliver exceptional outcomes where communities thrive. Kim is a passionate and values driven professional who acts with integrity and leads with an empathetic and strategic mindset along with a consultative and empowering management style.
Sigrid Adams
Director of Sales, Village Solutions
Sigrid has been involved in the aged care and retirement industry for well over two decades, beginning her career as a carer in a West Leederville aged care facility. After a move into the retirement industry as a village manager Sigrid quickly identified a need in the market for third party management and consultation expertise, founding Village Support in 2009.
This company attracted a number of privately owned and local government operated villages who required flexible and expert assistance and often in difficult circumstances. Under Sigrid’s leadership a Village Policy and Procedure Manual was developed to assist operators implement best practice procedures on a day to day basis and was supported by a number of other resources to assist village and resident management.
Sigrid joined forces with Gerald Major to form Village Solutions Australia in 2012 and was key in diversifying the business to incorporate sales/lease transfers. During this time, Sigrid worked with the Curtin Business School to complete their Master Class Program 7 and Growth Owner Program 45. As Director of Sales, Sigrid takes a very hands-on approach with her clients to ensure they feel confident and secure at what can be an incredibly stressful time.
Sigrid has cultivated a very positive and productive network in the retirement village industry and is currently serving as a member on the Property Council’s Western Australian Retirement Living Board.
During this time he held the position of National President of Retirement Villages Australia Ltd from 2004 to 2006 and successfully negotiated with Commonwealth and State governments, achieving positive outcomes in respect of the GST FREE treatment of serviced apartments and the provision of rates rebates for seniors in retirement villages in WA.
Nathan Broad
Regional General Manager - Retirement (Victoria), Australian Unity
Nathan Broad has been a member of the Retirement Living industry for the past 15years. His experience working with multiple operators and leading teams across a broad range of village types has grown his passion, knowledge and desire to see. In 2012, he was awarded the inaugural Rising Generation Award under the RVA – now known as the Award for Future Retirement Living Leader, since 2018 has been a member of the Victorian Retirement Living Committee and in 2022 is currently an alternate for the Code Review Panel.
Wayne Corbett

Wayne is a sales management professional with twenty years’ experience in varied industries, having also worked in the recruitment and liquor industries. Wayne has a track record of developing new business and motivating teams to consistently exceed targets.

Gabriel Duque
Principal, Plus Architecture
Gabriel is a Principal at Plus Architecture with over 25 years’ experience. Originally studying architecture in Colombia and completing his Masters of the Built Environment specialising in sustainable development at UNSW in Sydney, Gabriel is highly experienced in the design and delivery of a wide range of building typologies including multi-residential, mixed-use, aged care and health care and master-planning of urban environments.
Since joining Plus Architecture in 2018, Gabriel has demonstrated his strong track record in the design and delivery of large-scale projects combined with a depth of knowledge and technical expertise that he applies to the documentation of complex projects. His calmness under pressure is equalled by the enthusiasm he has for sharing his knowledge with younger colleagues.
Meaghan Morice
Partner and Senior Architect, O’Neill Architecture
Meaghan Morice is a Partner and Senior Architect at O’Neill Architecture (ONA), she has delivered a wide range of projects across a range of scales and complexities on challenging sites with multiple stakeholders. She has significant expertise in multi-residential, aged care and retirement living. Her particular skills are in design and documentation delivery, construction phase services and the detailed oversight of projects, from start to completion. She is fascinated by how things go together, however what drives her is that built environments improve the lives of the people who live, work and interact with them.
Key Retirement & Aged Care projects include Pavilions 1 & 2, North Kirra; Regis Lutwyche and Regis The Gap; The Verge, Burleigh; and Kerrisdale Gardens, Mackay.
Jodie Prosser
Retirement Living Executive
Person Centred Software
Jodie is a second generation retirement living professional and has deep passion for all things retirement living and community development. Having held both hands on and senior management positions in the Retirement Sector for over 20 years she has a vast experience base to draw on. Jodie was formerly the Business Manager for a national retirement village management company and was responsible for the well being and satisfaction of both 160 staff members and over 6000 residents and has led a national team of 50+ village managers, plus led ‘village recovery’ projects, collaborated with state regulators and designed Village Management training courses in Australia and internationally. Jodie lead the creation of the popular Industry specific professional development program for Retirement community professionals and establishment of DCM Institute alongside Chris Baynes and the DCM Group. Her latest conquest is actively driving the development and industry engagement with Retirement Living operations software Centrim Life with Person Centred Software Australia.
She has been a regular contributor and collaborator alongside industry peak bodies for over two decades serving on a variety of panels, committees and as subject matter expert. She is tertiary educated in the Social Sciences field, majoring in Community Development and holds several business management certificates. She brings values such as contribution, authenticity, community, curiosity, optimism and responsibility to any team or collaboration she works with.
Natalie Smith
General Manager – Retirement Living, Blue Care
Natalie Smith has been a member of the Retirement Living industry for over 10 years. In her time working within the retirement industry she has held a number of positions with a strong commercial background as well as leadership positions. Her experience across multiple operators including both the for profit and the not for profit sector across a range of villages has strengthened her passion for a resident focus. Natalie has been an active member of the Queensland Retirement Living Committee since 2020.

Andrew is well known for his honest and trusted advice delivering positive results for his clients by providing ethical outcomes focused solutions.
He is a partner of RA Veitch & Co, which was founded in 1981 and is a non-executive director of Kangaroo Island Direct and ICAM diversified industrial fund, along with other similar entities.

James Wiltshire

As a passionate advocate for the wellbeing of seniors living in Australia, James has spent more than two decades working across every aspect of the sector and for some of the country’s leading owners and operators of retirement communities.
James holds a Masters Degree in Commerce and Economics from UNSW and is currently the Executive Director of the DCM Institute, where he brings expert knowledge and deep understanding of the sector to enhance the professional development of Village Managers in order to protect the investment of operators and, most importantly, enhance the experience of residents.
