VALE STAN PERRON

A statement from Ken Morrison, Chief Executive of the Property Council of Australia:

It is with much sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Mr Stan Perron AM today.

Mr Perron was the founder and Chairman of Perron Group, a privately-owned company which now has net assets in excess of $4 billion, including one of the largest privately held property portfolios in Australia.

Stan Perron was a pioneer of the property industry, and a great supporter of the Property Council. His sustained leadership and outstanding contribution to the property industry and the Australian community was acknowledged by the Property Council in 2013 when he was inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame.

Mr Perron was well known and greatly respected by members of the property industry both in his home state of Western Australia and across the country. His determination, passion and commitment to hard work created the success of the business he founded over seven decades ago. His integrity, drive for excellence, and his compassion were borne out in his philanthropic endeavours and the charitable work that inspired the admiration of all those that knew him.

On behalf of all at the Property Council, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to Stan’s family and friends, and all at the Perron Group. He will be greatly missed.
