Unsolicited proposals framework welcomed

The Property Council of Australia has applauded the Queensland Government following the announcement that they will establish a new streamlined process for accepting and assessing unsolicited proposals (market-led proposals) from the private sector.

“The Property Council has called for the establishment of a comprehensive unsolicited proposals framework in Queensland for a number of years,” says Queensland Executive Director of the Property Council, Chris Mountford.

“These types of frameworks have been used interstate to harness the expertise and ingenuity of the private sector to identify and deliver projects that create jobs, economic growth and public benefits.

“This announcement by the Queensland Government is a step in the right direction in terms of unlocking private sector investment across the state.”
