The Outlook Forum
The Property Council of Australia NT Division will be holding its first event for the year, The Outlook 26th February 2016 at Doubletree by Hilton on the Esplanade 4-6pm.
The Property Council of Australia’s Director Northern Territory Ruth Palmer said that the Top End has been experiencing an increase in volatility in the residential, industrial, and commercial markets.
“With the significant amount of investment we have seen over the last few years across all sectors, combined with demand weakening, the property sector will be facing some challenging times over the short-term.”
“However, the Top End’s long-term prospects across to the entire property sector remain positive so the real question is how can investors take advantage of these weaker market conditions.”
“For investors who are willing to take a long-term approach, there will be a number of opportunities in the short to medium term.”
The Property Council of Australia has put together a panel of experts to discuss their views on the Territory market across the major sectors.
“We have an experienced panel who know the Territory market comprising of Quentin Kilian, Terry Roth and Matthew Knight who will discuss the opportunities and market conditions for Residential, Commercial and Industrial fields. We also have the head of the North Australia Development Office, Luke Bowen to discuss future and current major projects for the Territory.
“This is a not to be missed event for anyone who works or is interested in the market and where our commercial, residential and industrial sectors are headed moving forward.
“With a double header of elections this year, we need to increase confidence and certainty in the business community, we need further commitments from both sides of government on plans to reinvigorate and reenergise our City Centres to ensure our urban area can continue to grow.
