Property Council welcomes appointment of Brendan Crotty as National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation Chair
The Property Council of Australia warmly welcomes the appointment of Mr Brendan Crotty as the inaugural Chair of National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC).
Property Council Chief Executive Ken Morrison said: “Brendan brings significant expertise and experience to the role.
“Brendan Crotty is one of the most experienced business leaders in the Australian property industry.
“He matches a deep understanding of investment and business dynamics with a commitment to social outcomes, best reflected in his role as the inaugural chair of the Green Building Council of Australia.
“He is the perfect choice for this role,” Mr Morrison said.
The role of the NHFIC is to administer an affordable housing bond aggregator to provide cheaper and longer-term finance for community housing providers, as well as administer the National Housing Infrastructure Facility.
