Property Council welcomes announcement of Crisis Council

Victorian Executive Director of the Property Council, Cressida Wall, has welcomed Premier Daniel Andrews’ announcement that a “COVID-19 Crisis Council” has been formed to address the current COVID-19 pandemic and to drive the economic recovery effort.

“We applaud the Victorian government on their strong and proactive response to addressing the COVID-19 health crisis,” Ms Wall said.

“It is clear that the Government is not just addressing the current issues facing Victorians but also planning for the recovery that will be needed in the months and years that follow.”

The Crisis Council, led by the Premier, will be supported by Treasurer Tim Pallas and Ministers Merlino, Allan, Mikakos, Hennessy, Pakula and Neville.

“The Property Council welcomes the opportunity to work with Government to identify measures that will maintain our State through this crisis and support economic recovery post-crisis.” Ms Wall said.
