Property Council launches diversity portal
The Property Council today launched a brand new online diversity portal to provide an easy way for the property industry to gauge their diversity performance and strive for improvement.
The portal, created by Symmetra, provides a simple to use interface that gamifies the online process and provides an additional channel to drive the Property Council’s diversity agenda.
Property Council NSW Executive Director Jane Fitzgerald, said today that diversity has been a top priority for the Property Council across its committees and events.
“The diversity portal signifies another means by which the property industry can ensure diversity is top of mind within the industry so it is well placed to reap the benefits it brings.
“The portal provides the opportunity to compete against work colleagues and uncover some of the unconscious bias that can is often present in the workplace.
“The Property Council has formed Diversity Committees across Australia and their work includes overseeing mentoring programs, research initiatives, new event formats and professional development initiatives.”
“Diversity increases engagement and productivity, improved brand and financial returns and a more sustainable and agile industry.”
“The property council will continue to look for new and innovative ways of promoting diversity in the property industry.”
