Property Council Elects New Queensland PresidentThe Property Council of Australia is delighted to announce that Kingsley Andrew has been elected to the position of Queensland President by the Queensland Division Council.The election was conducted at the Property Council’s General Meeting, at which Division Council for the 2015-16 term was also elected. Mr Andrew is the General Manager, Residential Development (Queensland) for Stockland- Australia’s largest diversified property group. Mr Andrew has previously served as Vice President of both the Queensland and Victorian Divisions of the Property Council.”I am honoured to be elected Queensland President of such an important and highly regarded industry body. I have always believed that it is vital that our industry has a respected, professional and effective industry body advocating on our behalf. And the Property Council has a long track record of delivering this.” – Kingsley Andrew Mr Andrew takes over the position from Raynuha Sinnathamby, Managing Director, Springfield Land Corporation who has completed a very successful two year term as President. There is no question that her leadership strengthened the position of the industry and the Property Council. At the General Meeting, Bruce Harper – General Manager, Investa Land was elected Vice President of the Property Council. Mr Harper, a former Chair of the Property Council’s Residential Committee joins existing Vice President Laurence Lancini, Managing Director of Lancini Property and Development.
