Ingenia Award For Future Retirement Living Leader
One of the youngest members of Lendlease’s village management leadership team has been recognised as the Ingenia Communities Future Retirement Living Leader of the Year at a gala presentation on the Gold Coast.
Nidhi Saunders joined Lendlease in 2013 working in the merger and acquisitions team and was instrumental in a successful expansion strategy for the business, which grew from 55 to 71 villages over a four-year period.
In her current role as Project Manager, Portfolio Management, she has been focused on key strategic initiatives and customer experience.
This has included responsibility for the planning, implementation and execution of numerous projects including the introduction of new contract options, which has fundamentally transformed Lendlease’s retirement living business during a challenging period for the industry.
Nidhi has been recognised for strong leadership and her ability to build and develop rapport with other business units, as well as the way in which she leads and motivates her team. She is one of the youngest members of the Lendlease retirement living village management leadership team and is trusted to deliver key projects.
Nidhi graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 and then worked for one of the ‘big four’ accounting firms before joining Lendlease in 2013. She has also worked internationally at British Telecom before returning to Lendlease in 2017.
